1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
-
Salt and black pepper to taste

Juice of ½ lemon

¼ cup chopped parsley (optional)

Cook the pasta in salted water according to package instructions. Reserve ¼ cup of pasta water before draining.
-
In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and 2 tablespoons butter.

Once melted, add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.

Add the shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
